Another movie based on real facts. Already I am saying: is shocking, and we should apply double interpretation: very good and capable of letting us in shock.
Few things are such way that makes me feel badly, I think I am already used with the dirt that the world is, but torture is too heavy for me.

It is the story of a girl named Sylvia (Page), which is left with his sister by their parents in the home of a woman to take care of them while they traveled in working circus. Synonyms: dropped the girls with anyone.
The problem is that they chose the wrong place. The owner of the house had a several children problematic, itself was problematic and the paying guests girls were target. In the evolution of the film, Sylvia takes for you all violence while the sister was silent.
The girl will suffer all kinds of torture possible and imaginable, horrible for anyone, especially for a child.
The end of the film is developed through testimony of the trial of the case. For the viewers, who narrates the story is Sylvia, giving to us her own testimony making the people even more approaches to the full complexity of the moment she passed.
It is shocking, I repeat. But very necessary to see that evil is something very real and present. The cowardice leaves the people revolted, because the girl could not defend herself, both psychologically as physically.
What happens to her I will not tell, nor what happens to the torturers. But I find it difficult to talk about justice after a great damage is already done.
I see Ellen Page in a great future and I shocks me that she has the ability to make the people know the characters to the point of forgetting that what is interpretation. Who did not see Juno, see. Who did not see An American Crime, see. Who did not see Hard Candy, see. Is gonna change your life. For Sure.
